Purpose
Cut 15-25 net new videos per week against the pod's testing roadmap. Turn UGC and high production footage into scroll-stopping Meta ads.
What the role does
- Edits paid social ads for Meta. Video and static. Hook overlay, pacing, captions, sound design, on-frame text.
- Works from the Creative Strategist's brief: angle, hook, script, reference. Owns execution, not concept.
- Edits across both ends of the spectrum. UGC (raw, native, talking head) and high production (studio shoots, motion graphics, polished brand-led).
- Iterates winners. Takes a scaled ad and ships 5-10 variants (new hook, new opener, new music, new cut order, new on-frame text) to extend lifespan and find the next breakout.
- Maintains visual consistency across the pod while matching native Meta aesthetics.
- Tags clips after use, organises projects, makes sure no one re-cuts the same clip twice.
- Turnaround speed matters more than perfection. Most ads ship in under 24 hours from brief to upload-ready.
- Builds templates for repeatable formats so volume scales without quality drop.
Ideal candidate will have
Highly organised. Paid social experience editing ads that have actually run, not brand films. Strong Premiere Pro and CapCut. Comfortable editing both UGC and high production. Understands hook mechanics, retention curves, why the first 3 seconds matter. Comfortable taking direction and shipping fast.
